WVU knows how to make money.
While looking around @CowboysRFF (and finding that wonderful Les Miles video), I also stumbled across this little story about the top earning college athletic programs in the US. If you actually took the time to click the link (and you should, it’s really interesting if money you’ll never have is your thing) you’ll see that WVU’s big money programs (football and … Read entire article »
A thought on drinking in Morgantown.
Or rather, the idea of drinking inside Milan Puskar Stadium. So a lot of people made it pretty clear that they hate the idea of drinking inside the stadium. I can’t say that I’m surprised by this revelation, it’s generally the people who hate good ideas that complain about them the most. I should also note that I’m using the expression … Read entire article »
Moving on, moving up.
There’s something to be said about achievement, I guess. You have those that flaunt their success and look for the recognition they feel they so richly deserve; and sometimes you have the people that just don’t make a big deal out of it. It’s just to be expected, I guess. I don’t know where I really fall into those categories, … Read entire article »
So it’s been 4 months, but who’s keeping track?
So I could make the excuse that I forgot about the site and say my sorry’s for not writing more but, since I don’t think anyone reads this, I won’t bother. Mostly because I didn’t forget, I just had nothing to say. Go figure. … Read entire article »

I might have an addiction.
The most amazing thing about getting an iPhone (or really any new smartphone for that matter) is the effect it has on you at first. You know, the fact it’s like electronic crack. You just can’t put it down, you’re staying up late because you keep thinking “Oh, man, I need to download the app for that!” Wait, that’s not you? Oh… I guess that’s just me, then. Well, either way, I’ve logged a lot of hours on my iPhone thus far and downloaded my fair share of apps for it. (I got to the point I took my 16GB phone back for a 32GB, but that was more because I wanted to … Read entire article »
In the meantime.
I’ll write something on here tomorrow, my brain’s currently fried from trying to write a five page paper on a music video. In the meantime, here’s a picture of a guy getting arrested before the WVU-’cuse debacle. … Read entire article »
Forward thinking.
I’ve been thinking about what I want this blog to be about. You know, what I want to share and how it’s received. I’ve already said that I don’t consider myself to be an interesting person, so I don’t see whatever I happen to say to have much depth. I also don’t want to bore anyone, because if that happens, you’re not coming back. So I have two things to do here: 1) be interesting and 2) not be boring. Don’t worry, I won’t treat the blog like I do Twitter. This is one-a-day at best. … Read entire article »

I’m just going to take a minute and welcome you to elohel. I’ll be honest when I say I have no idea what I intend to use this for. Maybe I can find pretty interesting things to talk about from … Read entire article »
